Early season fishing is usually sparse fare, but on a changeable day weather wise, there were a decent number of trout seen rising when flat calm - very gentle rises presumably sipping midge from the surface. Caught two in Aon Aite - one of them so thin he must have just been very hungry! - and another in a nearby puddle which was half a pound and much fitter. All on a bushy dry fly, so you can never tell...
